  1. There’s not that many work from home "jobs" available these days. The ones that are, your lucky to make minimum wage. Not hardly enough income to support even one person these days. If you really want to work from home, I suggest you start your own home based business. There’s plenty of them around. I’m not sure what things you like to do, so I’ll tell you a little bit about what my husband and I do and point you out to a few other ones.

Over six years ago, we got started in our home based business in the telecommunications industry. It well supports our family of six. We have four children. We partnered up with a 15 year old world wide company that offers services that people use every day and pay for anyway. Services such as local and long distance telephone services, VOIP, Internet, video phones, digital, Satallite T.V. and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Alltel, Nextel, Disney etc have partnered up with them too. How many people do you know, or know of, that has one or more of these types of services? Think about how nice it would be to be able to save them money on the services that they are already using every day and paying for anyway, then every time they pay their telecommunications bills each month, you make a percentage every single month. There is a lot of money in this industry. We’ve been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated us the 22nd fastest growing company.

If you’d like more information on where to go to get involved, email me and I’d be happy to give you that information.

I also created a blog on home based business’s. Your more than happy to take a look. There are over half a dozen different ones to choose from. If you find one you like, contact the person that wrote it.

  2. I’ve been doing some work with http://www.elance.com the past week, all the work is home based, data entry, transcription etc. The only thing is you’re competing against people from countries where the hourly rate of pay is a lot lower, so not sure if it would be worth it for you.

Also have a look at the jobs listed here, most are appicable to us,canada, europe, its quite good, thats where I found the above link.

Its been updated today to include some Craft type jobs which can be done from home, mainly re-distribution, but it possible to make good money from it if you work hard.

So many online jobs are out there. In fact, to do any online job, you need not want to invest anything. Make sure, you dont pay anything to get jobs online. It is just that need to pick the one that suits you the best. I hope this helps you and–>I believe you will find the online job that you love the most. Thanks

  3. Try some online jobs, where you don’t have to pay upfront money. Online data entry is an excellent career to consider if you want to work at home. The equipment needed for this type of job is very minimal. You only need a computer with an Internet connection, a table and a comfortable chair. Data entry duties include the inputting of correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets into a home computer and then transmitting that data using the Internet. Work at home data entry personnel may also proofread text, edit information, and maintain databases. Data entry jobs usually offer flexible scheduling, allowing people to work when they want to and as little or as much as they want to. Some of the growing fields for work at home data entry include medical and legal transcription, medical coding and litigation coding.

This type of work is becoming so popular that many fraudulent websites have emerged offering data entry jobs, which promise huge profits. The best way to find a legitimate data entry job is visit a reputable career website. You are more likely to find a genuine work at home job using these websites.

There are several freelance websites that post freelance data entry jobs. Avoid responding to ads that do not list a company name or contact information. There are many reputable freelance work forums that can provide you with work at home data entry job listings. The forums are usually free to join and provide trustworthy information. Once you have found an advertisement for a work at home data entry job, check out the company by visiting their website. You can also do an online search using the company name and visit the Better Business Bureau website to see if they have been listed as a fraudulent company.

  4. There are plenty of work at home companies that don’t require you to pay a start up fee. I’m not sure what it is that you are looking for, but I know of a great company that I just came across.

The name of the company is Cash Cow Cha-Ching they are currently hiring Text/Fantasy Chat Operators.

They pay you to chat online. There are NO FEES ever and if you have a reliable PC/laptop comfortable with some adult content and know how to navigate chat rooms, and work instant messenger applications and email this would be ideal for you.

I work from HOME FULL time doing this. They pay you $20.00 dollars per customer you refer to their website that signs up for one of their products or services; as well as CASH incentives and weekly, monthly cash contest and a GREAT referral program for those who want to make extra money. In fact even if you don’t want to do the Adult Text Chat they are looking for recruiters those who just want to make money by referring others to the position.

Their referral program works like this:
For every person you refer and they make 7 sales within their first 7 days you receive a FLAT fee of $10 dollars and for ever sale there after you will receive $10.00 dollars for every 5 sales they make. Not bad for just referring hard working people uh?

    Check them out!

  5. well i take surveys online. check out my site http://cashtutor.blogspot.com I review all the sites that have paid me and even posted the checks online. They’re all free and easy. You won’t get rich but they definitely help with bills or something. :)

  6. The ones that aren’t scams actually require work on your part – and if you’re in need of money soon then you’re likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build – so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn’t true ( and those that are true sure didn’t make that kind of money when they first began ).

Time & effort required – but do your own research on what is best for you, don’t take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of forum.

I have other ideas that may help – one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself – try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don’t have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc – they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

    Hope it helps!

  7. would you be interested in writing?

You could setup a blog or website, this is completely free. Once you have added some good content, you can start to earn money from advertising. I know you wont make a huge income from this, but it would get you started working from home.

Pick a topic which you are very interested in, and write a piece on that everyday.

I’ve given step by step instructions on how to create a website for free, and then add adverts to it so you can start generating income.

Any questions please leave a comment on this blog.

I’ve added some screenshots to the page on setting up a blogger account and also for statcounter, I explain was there are on the website.

Hopefully I’ll get to complete the page on creating an Adsense account tomorrow.

  8. You can try freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://www.pcworkathome.net . Many of these companies have been in business for several years

  9. You have 3 choices,
#1, Home assembly work, most of them are legit, you can get list of all the companies for about $39 to $59, unfortunately, most of the companies offering that kind of work, will ask you for a $50 deposit which they will reurn to you once the work is done and some of them will even have you supply the materials. This type of work doesn’t pay very much at the about $3 to $8 per hours, it is more a type of work for someone that has a hobbie that he very passionated about and want’s to make a few $$$. but there is a little money to be made there.

#2 Home typing jobs (data entry). Most people that will contact you about this, will probably get a commission for refering you which is mainly their job, not typing. There are some good and legit opportunities that pay well, make sure that you can talk to someone about it, that there is no registration fees (you should never have to pay to work) and keep in mind that you need to be very accurate and very fast for this type of work, also check the fine print, some of them say that they can reject your work without any explanations, stay away from these, if they can not prove to you what you did wrong, they can cancel you any time, and you will have done all the work for free.

#3 The Home Internet (million $ opportunity) There are a million of those out there, they all can make you money, but don’t beblieve any of the promises, it’s a business and you will need to work to make it happened, the good thing is that you are a Stay at Home which is great because this type of work, just like the other can work easily around your schedule. the problem is to find an opportunity that will not drain your wallet. When some of these opportunity can have starting from $29 to $18K and monthly fees from $19 to $599, you have to be carefull into what you are getting into.
And there are NO AUTOMATED SYSTEM, you will have to do the work, the system will help you, but you need to do the work.
Here are a few tips to help you filter the bad ones out.
Don’t commit to anything untill you can talk to someone about the opportunity.
Find out all the cost involved, Startup Fee, Monthly fee, Website, product to buy every month to stay in, etc…
google the opportunity, find out who are the owners, president or CEO, if you can not find that out, get away.
Look at the product or service that you will be providing, make sure it is something you like, if not how are you going to sell it to others?
There is money to be made from all of these opportunities, you need to find the one that fits your budget, and your belief.
I got burnt a few time with these opportunities, not I try to help people make the right decision and also I search the web for FREE or LOW COST opportunities, I have a website dedicated for this, you can visit it, all the info on the site is free you don’t need to join anything.

    Hope this will help you

  10. I know a lot about this topic so please forgive the length of this reply. I have a lot of good info for you. I am a mother of two little girls who are actually tugging on my arm as I write this so I will try to be brief. Many people are looking for work from home companies. All the scams definitely create a big problem but also, there is a problem of people misunderstanding the difference between work from home "jobs" and work from home opportunities. There really are not work from home “jobs”. To get that you have to start working for a company in their offices first, then they MAY allow you to take the job home.

Most of the work from home opportunities that are legitimate offers are not an hourly pay type job. They are business opportunities that help you in starting your own business from your home.

What you should do first is to decide if you are simply looking for an hourly rate type job or if you are looking for more of an opportunity for additional income such as what you would make in your own business being your own boss from home. Many say a JOB stands for Just Over Broker and I have found that to be true as well. I never got anywhere working for others.

Small home businesses have some small costs involved, less then $500 to start is reasonable and I would stay away from those wanting $1000-$5000. It doesn’t cost that much to start and run a home business so you shouldn’t pay it. The real ones will have a small monthly overhead as well. Should be around $50 a month but no more then $75. And everything should be included from your web sites to training and team support to back office accounting and booking. It’s ok to pay this overhead because it’s a business, they cost money. It’s not reasonable to assume you can run a business from home with a website, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, processing and more for free so do keep that in mind as you search.

If you are coming across places that say free then I would RUN don’t walk the other way! They never are. I tried them many a times and 3 weeks later I had to buy this and 6 weeks later that. After 6 months these “free businesses” had cost me over $800 on average.

I’m a stay at home mom of two little girls as I mentioned, ages 1 and 3. I work about 15-18 hours per week for a National Medical Benefits Company. This is a home business, a nationally known and reputable home business which is what you need to make sure you are looking for. I have been with the company almost a year now and I make over $3500 a month! In your first month, depending on how many hours you can work, I have seen people make anywhere from $500 to over $3000. And your income will increase each month because we get paid residual income as well. If I continue on as I am going at the end of the year I will be making $6000 a month. My friend Becky from South Carolina started 2 years before me and she is now making $102,000 a year with this company.

The best part is they have 401(k), direct deposit, life insurance and a benefits package most of which you get from day one. In addition, there are no products, no hard selling or pushing, no cold calling, no home parties and no telemarketing! That was VERY important to me.

I absolutely love working with them and I can’t believe I am making what I am making and in so few hours per week. The neat thing is there are other people on your team that you work with so you are never alone. You have great team support and you get to know the other people on your team pretty well. The support is great but I have made wonderful friends as well. I think that’s important too, especially being at home!

I was a bit apprehensive at first because I know a lot of companies are not legit but this company is the number one National Medical Benefits Company in the US. They are a member of the US Chamber of Commerce, and the National Association of Dental Plans and the owner of the company actually sits on the board of The Consumer Health Alliance to which we are also members. Also they were featured in “The New York Times”, “Wall Street Journal” “Time Magazine” and the “American Medical Review”. Even “60 Minutes” with Morley Safer did a big special on this home based business.

Even more then all this is they are accepted at over 100,000 retailers nation wide. These are fortune 500 companies like Sears, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Wal-mart, Publix and more. These companies would never work with a company that was any thing less then reputable. That made me feel very good about working with them knowing they were accepted at these stores that I frequent. Also now of course being with them I get the dental and vision benefits for free and I saved over $150 on my last visit to the dentist! That’s just a beautiful perk! : – )

When I first started I just felt very safe with them, that and my friend was already making so much money with Ameriplan. But at this point I feel a sense of security financially that our family has never had before. That plus LOVING what you do? What could be better?

Check them out! Just type in http://www.workathomeplus.net in your web browser.
